The Hilltoppers used a connection from sophomore midfielders for the win: Audrey Doyle scored the extra-time goal early in the first overtime after an assist from Hana Allen. Senior keeper Ava Callaway recorded yet another shutout for the South Elgin Sectional eighth-seed.
At St. Charles East
St. Charles East 9, Larkin 0
The Fighting Saints scored five times in the first half and four times in the 28-minute second half. Anika Dodrill scored bookend goals and added an assist, and Sophia Wollenberg also notched a brace and helper. Tatum Smith contributed a goal and two assists. Alli Saviano and Averie Foulkes had a goal and helper each. Brooklyn Grossi created two assists. Loren Kernan and Georgia Desario collected solo tallies. Presley Kanaka chipped in with an assist. Christina Slovik scored a hat-trick in the first half and added a late assist for the Storm. Avi Hernandez came through with a goal and two assists. Nevaeh Gyurko, Lucy Tomasi, Ellie Vidic, Jateme Owen joined the scoring club.
Adeline Kinsella chipped in with a helper. Goalkeepers Lilly Rodriguez (one goal against, two saves, 60 minutes) and Jersie Speidel (zero, zero, 20 minutes) shared the win for sixth-seeded South Elgin (16-6-2).
At Stevenson
Stevenson 8, Rolling Meadows 1
The no. 15 Patriots (13-4-2) rolled on to the final. Ellie Egeland recorded a hat-trick, Amira Chavez added a brace and Arria Chavez, Morgan McKelvey (assist) and Nicole Tchorz recorded solo tallies. Sami An, Ashley Liang, Abby Sampson and Emma Pop earned helpers for the fifth-seed in the Hersey Sectional.
At Warren

Jackie Amezquita scored the game-winner in the 25th minute and Addison Stanciak continued her scoring surge with two goals and an assist. Sofia Ogren and Yasmin Lenzi add to the scoring line. Kate Mondejar, Alex Brock
and Hannah Kagan notched assists. Keeper Emma Megerle earned the clean sheet for the Blue Devils (12-7-1), who are the third-seed in the Huntley Sectional.
At West Aurora

Audrey Eisman and Annie Fitzgerald scored in the win for the Redwings (16-3-1), who are ranked seventh and seeded fifth. Natalie Grover and Megan Bergman each contributed an assist. Sophomore keeper Giada McGlynn earned the shutout in goal.
